Stamped to fit multiple pipe sizes, steel pipe and PVC pipe: tube, IPS, and PIP sizes. Body material of construction is carbon steel with FBE coating. Units are designed with a female iron pipe thread port (FIPT). Hex bushings are available for FIPT sizes not shown. This allows for ease of fabrication, coating, handling, and shipping while reducing the likelihood that the product would be damaged in any of these stages. We offer flanged, grooved, or plain end ports if requested.
(FBE) Fusion Bonded Epoxy coated with Nap-Gard® 7-0014 Multipurpose Green 10-12 mils thickness, AWWA standards C116, C213 & C5500. Certified ANSI/NSF 61. This ensures that your parts withstand corrosive environments. EPDM sealing gaskets have double (3-3/4″) and triple (4″ and 5-1/2″) ribs for superior sealing on varied surfaces. Hardware provided includes, 3/8″ x 2-1/2″ long carriage bolts, nuts, and lock washers for a secure connection. An 18-8 grade stainless steel option includes PTFE coated hex nuts to reduce galling when fastening the stainless hardware.
